Sorry to hear that! What did you feel was lacking? With simple recipes like this good quality ingredients like the tomatoes & beans can make a huge difference, also making sure to add additional seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Those are just my initial thoughts but I'd love to hear your thoughts & see if I can tweak this recipe to make it better 🥰

Morning Rosa, thank you for responding. I used bold beans and Mutti tomatoes but I think I was expecting maybe more depth of flavour esp with the Parmesan? Maybe using roasted tomatoes would work better. Having said all this, my partner liked the soup and said he could taste all the different flavours! Cheers, Kirsten

Oh definitely not an ingredient thing then as those are fab! How strange, yes roasted tomatoes would definitely deepen the flavour, I'm going to give this one another go this week and see what adjustments I can make, thanks for your feedback!

Hey Katie! So you'd want to use around 1 and a half large jars, or alternatively 3 x standard 400g tins, hope that makes sense! x
