Add the olive oil to a pan and heat on low-medium, sauté the diced onion for around 5 minutes until the onion begins to turn clear, then add in the sliced tomatoes. Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, chilli flakes, fennel seeds and paprika, stir and allow to cook for a further 5 minutes.
